Is talent just born with it out of the blue? is it something you strictly inherit?

For example, in a talentless family can a child be born with the talent to

I had this debate with my boyfriend a while back; I argued that

you're born with it, & he said everything is learnt.

We came to the conclusion that we're BOTH right.

One can give a person all the training in the world to master an

instrument, for example, & he would be able to do it (and pretty good
too), but the on with the natural born TALENT that recieved exactly the
SAME training, will turn an ordinary song into a MASTERPIECE.

So, long story short, while you can LEARN to do anything, ones with
talents can master it.

And yes, talents can be inherited- I come from a long line of artists,
musicians, actors, writers & historians. ;)

I'd say both! Neither of my parents have any music talent at

all, but I think I have real natural ability at it. I was always at the

on is the instrument I play currently, flute. At sixth grade, I was

playing at a high school level. So I think talent most definitely can
come randomly. Perhaps it is more commonly recognized in families with
large amounts of talent in their genetics, though. Or maybe exposure to
music, dancing, etc. when children are young gives them a deeper
understanding of music, dancing, etc. Who knows?

But I think everyone has some sort of talent at something, some people
just have yet to discover what theirs is. Once you find yours, the only
thing you can do is exercise it & make the most of ur abilities!

A talent is a special natural ability, there is no such thing as

developing a talent by working on it, or else, it wouldn't be a talent,

that would just mean you're a good student. Anyone can grab a violin &
learn to play, the talented person will play better than the teacher with
expressions running out the music, learning how to do something & doing it
well IS NOT talent.

If talent was something you grab from instructions then typing fast would
be a talent, but it is not, because eventually every person with a
keyboard will type at my speed, talent is a unique, only & single special
skill people naturally have, not something free for the public to learn.
If Shakespear just learned his talent then his teacher would be the famous
genius not him! And in his time there was extremely little hope for a poet
to appear & improve the child is talent, it came on it is own! People who
under & overestimate how talent is form or even understand what talent IS
really piss me off!

ANYWAY...

Talent can be both inherited & born with from no where. My father was a
very talented drawer & ceramic, since I was 5 my talent for drawing
started emerging when I drew puppies more real looking than the other
kindergartners, yet I tried my heart & guts out & I am terrible at
ceramics, but I am VERY flexible & have an incredible interest for modern
dance & always got teacher compliments.

So basically, I doubt a talentless family can have a child with THAT many
talents all at once, but maybe he could have a born poetry skill out of
the blue.

It is more likely to inherit a talent than to get one from no where,
however it is not at all impossible.
